Hurricane Relief

How we can help...

Hurricane Helene made landfall on September 26. As a category 4 hurricane, it left a trail of devastation in its wake.

We are partnering with the Anglican Relief Development Fund and local area churches to assist those in need. On their website, you can donate to ARDF or volunteer to help. We will also be accepting donations of food and supplies.

What is the Anglican Relief Development Fund?

ARDF connects Anglican churches with resources as they meet the needs of their communities, expanding the Kingdom of Christ through tangible acts of compassion in their contexts. They support the local church to encourage families and communities with practical help and solid solutions through a living Gospel that feeds body, soul, and spirit.

By supporting ARDF's General Relief Fund, you can help us quickly respond to Hurricane Helene. There are many immediate needs, but long-term recovery will also be needed.

Are you part of a group that wants to help? Right now ARDF is assessing the needs in several communities. Once they know what is needed and where, we can send groups of people willing to help. This way, we can be effective and efficient in the Disaster Response.

Creator God, we ask you to calm the wind and the waves of the approaching hurricane, and spare those in its path from harm. Help those who are in its way to reach safety. Open our hearts in generosity to all who need help in the coming days. In all things and in all times, help us to remember that even when life seems dark and stormy, you are in the boat with us, guiding us to safety.
