Kendall serves as Theologian in Residence. He holds degrees from Bowdoin College, Regent College, Vancouver, B.C., and Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry. In 1993, he was awarded his D.Phil. at Oxford University. Kendall is married to Elizabeth, an Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing at MUSC, and they have three young adult children, Abigail (married to Joseph Martin), Nathaniel, and Selimah.
