Laura came to South Carolina when she retired after 20 years of service with the Pennsylvania State Police. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Penn State, and a Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree from Trinity School for Ministry, Ambridge, PA. Laura served at Holy Cross as a Transitional Deacon at the Sullivan's Island campus, and following her ordination to the priesthood in 2022 she was asked to stay here and serve as Assistant Rector. In her spare time, Laura volunteers as a Crisis Chaplain with Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy, which provides emergency services for Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester Counties.
