Will you join us in prayer?

Dear Holy Cross Family,

Will you join us in prayer?

On behalf of the Vestry, the Clergy, the Search Committee, the Daniel Island Launch Committee, and the Staff, thank you for covering us with your prayers. We see God working in our church and are excited to see where He is leading us; whom He has chosen to be our new Rector; how He will use the launched Daniel Island Parish to further His kingdom; and how He continues to bless us as we follow His great commission and make disciples who make disciples!

In Matthew 7:7, Christ tells us, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” (ESV)

With the upcoming Co:Mission Weekend, as well as key discernment needed by both the Search and DI Launch Committees, we are asking for you to join us in a week of 24/7 prayer September 24th through October 1st. Starting September 24th at 1 PM and continuing through October 1st at 4 PM, will you please spend at least one hour praying for the Church of the Holy Cross? If you are willing to do so, please sign up for what hour(s) you are able to pray at HOLYCROSS.NET/PRAY24

Additionally, if you feel so led and are able, please join us in a community time of fasting and praying for the church from 6 PM on Saturday, September 30th, until the start of the Co-Mission dinner at 4PM on Sunday, October 1st.

For all, please join us in celebrating what God is doing in our church and for answering our prayers at the Co-Mission Celebration Dinner & Auction on Sunday, October 1, at the beautiful Cooper River Room in Mount Pleasant. You can sign up for the dinner at HOLYCROSS.NET/MISSIONS

If you don’t know what to pray, click the button below for some suggested prayers from the Book of Common Prayer (2019), ideas from the Anglican Catechism and a couple of prayers the search committee has been praying.

We thank God for you and your prayers.
