Karen grew up in Monroe, NC but has lived in Mount Pleasant for the past 17 years with her husband Brian and her girls Katie and Anna Claire. She started at HIS School, Daniel Island assisting in the Twos class 15 years ago. Since then she has been a lead in the Twos class, the Assistant Director, and then moved into the Director's position at the Sullivan’s Island location in 2021. She feels so blessed that God has given her the opportunity to be a part of this ministry for so long and watch beautiful young minds blossom with the love of God and so much more. Karen loves coming to work everyday and calls it her “happy place.” She enjoys teaching chapel and seeing all of the smiling faces each day.
